Project Description
TECHSIGHT is a European initiative that develops a comprehensive model for advancing deep tech innovation by engaging students, academic staff, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. Through its integrated approach, TECHSIGHT connects academia, industry, government, and society to build resilient innovation ecosystems prepared for future challenges. The project focuses on quantum technologies, biotechnology, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, and other deep technologies with high societal impact.
The Role of CPN:
The Center for the Promotion of Science leads work packages 6, dedicated to innovation ecosystem development. CPN’s tasks include the development of policy recommendations for deep tech ecosystem growth, the establishment of six innovation districts across the consortium, the support for deep tech startups through accelerator programs, mentorship, and open calls, and the coordination over the knowledge-sharing and collaboration platform − CollabSPHERE. Through this project, CPN reinforces its mission of connecting science, society, and innovation, by promoting responsible and sustainable technological development in line with European values.
