The TeRRIFICA project starts out from this position, with a view to analyse the impact and propose a new model dedicated to reducing the adverse effects of climate change. Several territories throughout Europe will serve as test areas for initial analysis and the mapping of climate impacts and subsequent changes, but also good practices and activities implemented by public institutions, scientific and educational institutions, NGO sector and professional associations, individuals and dedicated organisations.

The second phase of the project will create a specially developed set of recommendations and applicable practices for each of the selected territories  an agriculturally oriented region in Germany, the Atlantic coast of France, wider city areas of Barcelona, Minsk and Poznan, and Belgrade within the Danube and Sava river basin of Southeast Europe  to test strategic activities using the concept of "living labs". The final result of the project will be an interactive map with active data and results, along with models and guidelines which have been successfully implemented and validated in practice.

From the initial position which envisaged detailed mapping and active consultation with key actors and decision makers at all levels, the TeRRIFICA project will first move towards mitigating the obvious consequences of climate change. The ultimate goal is to develop methodological tools which would help anticipate future changes and significantly reduce or completely neutralise their effects.

The Role of CPN

The Center for the Promotion of Science is the project’s regional center and coordinator of activities in several countries of Southeast Europe – Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Albania, Hungary and Serbia. In cooperation with local partners, research and education centers, public institutions and NGOs, the Center organises numerous meetings, workshops and seminars in order to define the operational framework of the TeRRIFICA project, and then test the proposed models and solutions in practice. The common denominators and guidelines for work in Southeast Europe are linked to (management of) water resources, air and other forms of pollution and biodiversity in the Danube and Sava basin. Belgrade serves as a focal point of the project in the region of Southeast Europe.

Territorial RRI fostering Innovative Climate Action Циљ пројекта TeRRIFICA јесте свеобухватно обједињавање података, истраживања и активности, како би се припремио […]

[29,28

post-2508","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-horizont2020","category-realizovani
["GET
