European Researchers\u2019 Night project<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The project wants to identify and contribute to the public standing of the best researchers and innovation projects that generate knowledge for the benefit of the whole society. It also stimulates promotion of the research profession among young pupils and students. The project reflects Europe in an ever-changing world, which is expected to develop science that is smart, transformative, anticipating, co-creative, and which responds to the true societal needs. Since the new program for research and innovation \u2013 Horizon Europe, is in preparation, the project is focused on the transition stage and sheds light on the triangle among science, industry, and citizens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Main topic in 2020 is the digital science! The focus is on intriguing and impactful scientific examples about the application of digital technologies and social networks. One of the phenomena which shapes and crucially delineates modern age is the internet. Social media represents strong means of communication and interaction among users, where information and ideas are being created, shared, and exchanged. Scientists themselves use digital tools more and more in their research, data and measuring results are more and more displayed on online platforms, and smartphones have become tools for education, data gathering and data processing \u2013 in a word, for research. That is why this year we want to present all the possible ways in which, through the use of digital media, we can explore, learn, and engage in science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Role of CPN<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

CPN leads the work package 2, within which it coordinates activities at science clubs in Kikinda and \u0160abac, as part of the Science Clubs Network, whose founding and gathering was initiated in 2016. The main role is to promote the project and its goals through the Researchers\u2019 week, as well as to attract new participants through purposely designed programs. Key activities are in the first place intended for children and young people so that they would be inspired and encouraged to choose science.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
